Excellent fish and chips. Really fresh and cooked to order. Very generous portions. Haddock was really fresh and cooked in beef dripping without the skin. Had a turnover which is basically a Yorkshire fishcake. Two slices of potato with a generous section of fish sandwiched in between then battered . The service was excellent. Such a friendly couple. Makes you want to return. Thoroughly recommend to anyone and will return again next time we pass

Just moved nearby and heard good things about this spot, decided to try and was expecting some nice fish and chips but what I had was the best fish and chips i'd had in years, fish was very fresh and reminded me of seaside fish and chips but without the skin, i'm fussy with chips so normally order just a special but thought I would try theirs too and these are exactly to my liking. Portion size is big enough and staff are friendly and polite. Already can't wait to go back, this chippy is going to cost me a fortune I can just see it.
